EduVision:

Your Vote, Your Voice in K-12 Data Science Education! 

Join these organizations in developing the first-ever national K-12 data science education framework.

In early 2024, Data Science 4 Everyone launched a series of focus groups dedicated to the development of the development of the first-ever K-12 data science and data literacy learning progressions.

These 11 focus groups were comprised of:  

  • Students 

  • Educators (from across the disciplines)

  • Higher Education 

  • Industry Professionals 

  • Policymakers 

  • NCTM

  • NSTA

  • NCSS 

  • CSTA

After five months working together collaboratively, these groups came together on June 28, 2024 at the University of Chicago to produce a list of 25 learning outcomes they believe should be used to create the first set of data science learning progressions for K-12 education.
