While K-12 data education is a relatively nascent field, there are already a variety of resources for teachers who want to implement data science in the classroom today. Here, schools and teachers can gather resources for implementing data science education into their classrooms ranging from year-long courses to short activities.

The Thrills of Roller Coasters: DS4E Lesson Plan Winner
The Thrills of Roller Coasters: Using Data to Make Recommendations is the 1st place winning lesson plan selected from the DS4E Bite-Sized Lesson Plan Competition. In this lesson, teachers and students can experience digging into the thrills of roller coasters and use an easy-to-use data tool to explore, structure, process, visualize, and model data.

The Banana Survey: DS4E Lesson Plan Winner
The Banana Survey Project is the 3rd place winning lesson plan selected from the DS4E Bite-Sized Lesson Plan Competition. In this lesson, students create a visual survey inspired by the Banana Survey and then add one other follow-up question in order to create two-way tables.
